Great food has the innate ability to not only taste good to the eater, but to invoke a spirit of happiness and positivity.  Self taught chef Magalie Delaleu has perfected her natural gift for cooking by by continuously creating new and delectable dishes. Her Hatiatian roots (Hatian American, raised in Haiti til the age of 14) have given her a unique foundation for her craft and her passion for cooking. At the age of 7 Magalie would then pretend to cook in the kitchen along side women in her family and it was at this time that her interest in cooking took off. Fast forward to today; weddings, small events and chef services have all been graced with the finest dishes prepared by her hands and mind. Be on the lookout for a forthcoming book and cooking show.

For the sweet tooth that lies within all of us, here she prepares a Coconut Mango Pie.
