Could you imagine social media if it had been in its present state when Kobe Bryant scored 81 points in a single NBA game January 22, 2006? It could have possibly been billed as the greatest moment in NBA History just due to the commentary of those that would have witnessed this historic feat inside of Staples Center; Instagram videos, second by second Tweets, photos, Vines and SnapChats of each point Kobe scored en route to the second most prolific (Wilt Chamberlain scored 100 points in an NBA Game on March 2, 1962) scoring output in NBA history. Thank GOD for the media coverage which was extraordinary (even ESPN cut to live coverage of this game as Kobe made history) and the greatness of Kobe Bryant which made this scoring feat historic.
