Ohio State University Wins The National Championship

OSU Celebrates their national championship win over the Oregon Ducks.

With the first year of college football using the National Championship Playoff System “The” Ohio State University Buckeyes defeated the University of Oregon Ducks 42-20 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington,Texas.  This is the third national championship for Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer. The Buckeyes were led to victory by the amazing play of running back  Ezekiel Elliott who finished with a stat line of 36 carries, 246 yards and four touchdowns. Quarterback Cardale Jones 
finished the game on 16-of-23 passing for 242 yards, one passing touch down and one running touchdown. The defense of the Buckeyes limited the usually highly efficient offense of the Ducks, enabling the Buckeyes to power to a convincing victory.
