November 10, 1969, PBS (Public Broadcasting Service) saw the premiere of Sesame Street. A preschool educational television program, Sesame Street provided young children the opportunity to learn many of the basic fundamentals of education and school through the use of human beings, puppets, cartoon animations, and vivid storytelling. As of today, Sesame Street is shown worldwide in many different countries and in various language formats.
