Restaurateur Troy McSwain Talks Beola’s Chicken & Waffles And Entrepreneurship

The comfort of a good meal and the love of family are priceless things in this world. A person that is able to combine these two things and make it a way of life truly has found an invaluable treasure. Entrepreneur Troy McSwain has been able to combine both food and family to not only make a living but also provide opportunities and inspiration for the community.  McSwain attended the United States Naval Academy, before fostering a tremendous amount of success as a businessman. As a fashion designer and stylist, he founded McSwain Enterprises, designing wardrobes and styling over 2,500 clients hailing from Fortune 500 companies, professional sports and the world of entertainment.

The year 2016 would see the McSwain family become a restaurateur, with the opening of Beola’s Southern Cuisine. Co-owning with his son Alex McSwain, the restaurant houses a distinct menu of dishes that were derived from family recipes and family roots from New Orleans, Louisiana, Spartanburg, South Carolina and the Caribbean.

Located in Upland, California and named after his grandmother, Beola’s is sure to satisfy the cravings and tastebuds of any customer that walks through the door.
