Education, Understanding Its Place In Life

The importance of education is determined by not only the individual, but also the environment from which the individual comes from. A person that comes from an environment where education is not seen as a priority will not necessarily have the starting blocks to build a foundation for a life built around the necessity of education and knowledge.  A person that has lived a life in an environment as such may not have a total understanding of the opportunities and doors that may readily present themselves to them as an educated person. A person that is a student at school or a student of life must understand that the educational journey one sets afoot to travel begins with self. There must be an inside urgency to learn about things that impact every day in every capacity; scholarly work, health, fitness, finances and social interactions.

The year 2025 presents a world where there is an abundance of resources available for people to increase knowledge about the current world, while also learning about history that has impacted the world in its current day status. Libraries, free online courses and the world wide web have created pathways for people to learn about pretty much everything that has been documented in this world. Life circumstances can deter a person’s educational journey, but with each new day comes an opportunity to pursue education. Whether a person aims to go to a four-year university, a two-year university or a vocational/trade school to further advance their skills and knowledge, the first step is in deciding which avenue will create the best opportunity for success. There are many people in this world that have studied various courses at institutions across the world that have gained some type of direct insight as to how they would like to build their foundation for life success. People from the past that came from impoverished backgrounds, people that were not allowed to be educated due to the color of their skin (slave codes for black people) and people that simply had to work to provide for their family (children as well as adults) at some point made self-educating themselves a priority to increase the opportunities for advancement and success in life. There comes a time in life when the dependence on another person or people to educate you will stifle your life goals. Embrace learning with each day of living on this earth, for learning allows you to have a vision, which gives you goals to successfully aim for in your life journey.
