President Donald J. Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance were sworn into the Oval Office on January 20th during the 60th U.S. inauguration ceremony in Washington, D.C. President Trump returned to his position as the commander in chief, as he was previously the 45th PResident of the United States.

The extreme cold in the nation’s capital forced fwatiutiviess to take place indoors, inside the United States Capitol rotunda. The last time that an inauguration ceremony took place indoors was in 1985 for President Ronald Reagan’s second term of the presidency. A signing ceremony took place after the swearing-in-ceremony, which would be followed by the inaugural luncheon, the first honors ceremony and the procession and parade which took place at Capital One Arena. President Trump signed various executive actions and memoranda and proclamations in his first day in office. Many prominent figures from across the world from various sectors were in attendance at the 60th U.S. inauguration ceremony.
