“On Paper” Premieres At The 2026 Pan African Film Festival

The 34th Annual Pan African Film Festival began in Culver City, California, this month, continuing its tradition of celebrating the arts and film, and the creators who create masterpieces for the world to see. “On Paper,” a psychological horror thriller, made its world debut at this year’s festival.

This cinematic thriller was written by Randall Rydell Russell, produced by Jaqueline Fleming & T. Bankolé ( At The Kitchen Table), and directed by Amanda Niqole. The storyline follows a struggling screenwriter who discovers his latest script is unexpectedly similar to a series of real-life murders. The film features a cohesive cast of performers, including Noah Abbott, Vernon Davis, Malika Blessing, TravQue, Jerrel O’Neal, Carrie Bernans, and G. Anthony Joseph. The supporting cast includes Chris Camaj, Cookie Mazle, Solomon Wise, Jalene Mack, Michael Camacho, Wallace Demarriá, Brittney Bell, Sydni Davis, Daria Kokora, Tiffani Ann Mills, Rayshawn Chism, Frankie Blair, Syant Cross, Mynor A. Del Cid, and Bobby Brooks, with an on-screen appearance by Jaqueline Fleming. Producers for the project include Vernon Davis, Chris Beal, and Shalina Murrel, with Wallace Demarriá serving as a co-producer. Deatrich Wise Jr., a defensive lineman for the Washington Commanders, also worked as an executive producer.

“On Paper” is a mind-twisting thriller that is sure to captivate anyone watching with its unique blend of horror, suspense, comedy, and action.
