Women veterans of the United States Armed Forces were honored and celebrated at the 2024 Women Warriors Event in Newport Beach, California at the American Legion 291.
Curated by The Operation IMPACT Tour, this annual event honors women veterans and recognizes them for all of their hard work, courageous efforts, and sacrifices in the armed forces. The event also recognized mothers and other warriors. The day began with a luncheon to recognize individuals with the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award. Dr. Cheri L. Sotelo, a Presidential Volunteer Service Award credentialing agent, presented these awards to Nick Berardino, Jake Rademacher, and Evin D. Planto.
The day would culminate with vendors and various organizations in attendance to present opportunities, food items, and serviceable items and goods for those in attendance.
