The First Annual Mendez National Institute of Transplantation Foundation Holiday Gala Dance Party & Charity Event was held in Beverly Hills, California, this past weekend. The gala benefitted underserved communities affected by kidney disease and end-stage organ failure. This event supported the life-saving work of MNITF, a nonprofit committed to advancing transplant research, education, and outreach to communities significantly affected by kidney disease. Funds raised from the gala support culturally relevant outreach campaigns like “Linked by Love,” community-based awareness & prevention education, and improved access to transplant-related care in underrepresented communities.
